By

Panasonic_Lumix_ZS30_blk.jpgPanasonic's new Lumix DMC-ZS30 is a powerful compact super-zoom, one that Panasonic claims is their, "most advanced photo and video hybrid compact camera to date". This camera is packed with features you'd normally find in larger cameras, like a versatile Leica 20x optical zoom lens, that also features their proven Power O.I.S. system (Optical Image Stabilization).

The new and improved 18-megapixel HS MOS image sensor, combined with a new Venus Engine processor, help the camera capture high resolution JPEG  images along with full HD AVCHD 1080 60p video.

If that's not enough to get you excited, the ZS30 has a few more cards up its sleeve. One of which is built-in 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, allowing you to wirelessly connect the camera to you PC, or any iOS or Android powered smart phone or tablet. They've even created a free Panasonic Image App, which allows you to use your smart device as a live viewfinder, and control the camera's zoom and shutter release; for the ultimate self or group portraits. Lastly, the ZS30 offers a new Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality  which allows it to automatically recognize the settings of your internet enabled Wi-Fi device, with one simple tap. They claim this will help streamline the process of saving, sending, and sharing your photos.

This is one camera we are very excited to see, so stay tuned as we up date this page once we get our hands on one. In the mean time, check out more of its features below.
