Switching the camera into playback mode allows you to view the images and videos that you have captured, in-camera. As the default, you will first see the last image captured or viewed. Pressing the DISP. button allows you to change the amount of info that is shown on the LCD screen.
Pressing the zoom lever to the wide end enters the camera into index mode. This makes it fast and easy to find an image or video saved on the SD card. Pressing the wide zoom a couple times will take you to the calendar mode. Here you can select images based on the date they were taken.
Pressing the zoom lever the other way (TELE) allows you to zoom in on an individual image. The camera can zoom in up to 16x. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image.

Resize allows you to make a smaller copy of an image without the need for a computer. This is a fast and easy alternative for images that you want to upload to a social media site or email to friends and family.
Playing back your movies is easy on the camera's large 3.0-inch LCD screen or on any HDTV with an optional HDMI cable. The 4-way controller acts as a DVR-like controller, giving you full playback control.
