Record Screens & Menus

Since the TS1 has a dedicated video record button, there are not separate shooting screens for still images and movies. When the shooting information is shown, it will display the cameras still and movie shooting modes as well as any information about the settings. Pressing the display button allows you to toggle between displaying the number of remaining images and the amount of video recording time is left on the selected memory.

panasonic_ts1_rec_quick_menu_anim.gifPressing the Q. Menu (quick menu) button at the bottom of the camera brings you to a list of commonly used and changed camera settings. This way you do not have to search through the camera's entire main menu to find these settings. They include Burst mode, AF Mode, White Balance, ISO, Intelligent Contrast, Image Size, Video Record Quality, LED Light and Power LCD Mode.

panasonic_ts1_rec_4way_anim.gifThe camera's 4-way controller also acts as shortcut buttons for the exposure compensation (up), flash (right), macro (down) and the self-timer (left). The center button allows you to make your selections when looking at these options. If you are not looking at these options, it will bring up the camera's main menu when pressed.
