When you switch to Play mode the last picture captured is displayed full screen with
some information overlayed; image size and quality, folder name, file number,
picture # / total # of pictures and the time and date of capture.
Pressing the DISPlay button toggles the display of more exposure data including the
aperture, shutter speed, ISO speed and flash mode.
When an image is played back in full screen mode you can go into zoomed playback mode
by pressing the zoom control to the telephoto position. There are four magnification
values from 4x to 16x and once the image is enlarged you can scroll around inside
of it using the 4-way selector.
Flipping the zoom control to the wide angle position enables the thumbnail index mode.
There are 9 small images per page shown and quickly lets you locate any desired
image on your memory card.
The Play mode menu has options for protecting images from erasure, setting DPOF print
options, start an automated slide show, add an audio comment, resize pictures to a
smaller size, trim (crop) and save images to a smaller size and format the memory card.
Up to a 10-second audio memo can be recorded and attached to still images.
Large images can be resized in-camera to save space. Images can be downsized to
1600x1200, 1280x960 or 640x480.
And you can Trim (crop) images in-camera and then save them back to the memory card
without erasing the original image.

While a movie is playing the time remaining is displayed if the information display
is enabled. The icon in the lower left shows which of the 4-way buttons control the
playback functions.
