Pressing the Play button on the back of the camera allows you to view all of the images that are saved on the camera's SD card. This allows you to view all of your captured images without a computer. The DISP button on the back of the camera allows you to change the amount of information that shown about each image.

Pushing the zoom lever to the Wide end in playback mode takes the camera to its index view. Here you can view and select thumbnails of the actual images that are on the SD card. This makes finding a single image a snap. There is even a calendar view to select images based on the date in which they were captured.

Pressing the zoom lever to the Telephoto end allows you to zoom in on a single image. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check the detail and focus of an image without the need for a computer. A small box at the top right shows you which portion of the photo is being shown.
