Pressing the playback button on the back of the camera allows you to see all of the images that are saved on the SD card. The Info button (up on the joystick) lets you change the amount of information that is displayed about each image.

If you press the zoom lever to the wide end while in playback mode, the camera will go to its index mode. Here you can search through your images by looking at the thumbnails. The joystick then allows you to select the image that you want to view full-screen.

Pushing the zoom lever to the telephoto end allows you to zoom in on an image. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the joystick to scroll around the image. This is a great way to check focus and detail when you do not have a computer handy.

The edit menu gives you some basic editing features that can be done without a computer. Basic resize, crop, and rotate features adjust the overall image. Audio recording allows you to save a short audio file or note to an image. The Beauty Fix, Shadow Adj, and Redeye Fix are automatic image correction tools to help your images.

The cropping feature allows you to zoom in and change the composition and remove items from the outside of the images.
