Featured on the SP-600UZ is the massive 15x wide optical zoom lens with
a 35mm equivalent of 28-420mm. When the camera is off the lens retracts
into the body, keeping it rather small for the size of the lens. Its
maximum aperture of F3.5-F5.4 allows for good low-light shooting. The
sensor-shift image stabilization helps steady the camera when using the
telephoto end of the zoom with the camera in your hands. To help
protect the lens, Olympus has provided a lens cap that fits over the
lens, but pops off if the camera is turned on, just in case you forget.
On top of the camera you will find Olympus's manual pop-up flash. This
powerful compact flash operates in Auto, Red-Eye reduction and fill
