Program mode is an automatic shooting mode that gives some of the camera's control to the photographer. ISO and WB are just a few things the photographer can choose, but the camera will always choose both the shutter speed and aperture based on the other settings that you pick. Pressing the info button allows you to change the amount of information that you see on the LCD screen.

iAuto or Intelligent Auto is the camera's fully automatic shooting mode. Not only will this mode take control of all of the camera's settings, it will also choose the best scene mode, if one is available, for your current shooting situation.

Manual mode gives you full control over the camera. This gives full creativity to the photographer. You also have Aperture priority and shutter speed priority for those still building their photographic skills. When all these options (iAuto to full Manual) are taken into consideration, the E-PL5 will allow anyone in the family to have fun taking photos, no matter how much experience they have.
