Playback Screens & Menus

You can playback captured images by pressing the MONITOR button when the lens barrier is closed or when in record mode you can quickly push the MONITOR button twice to enter the quick review mode.

In the playback menu you can enable the INFO option to display information including the quality (HQ), Image Size (2048x1536), Exposure Comp., White Balance, the Date/Time and the File Folder/File Number.

Press the zoom lens control to the wideangle position to activate the index playback mode. In the menu you can select the number of images to display per screen as 4, 9 or 16.

Pressing the zoom control to the telephoto position will enlarge the image on the screen. There are several magnifications available from 1.5x to 4x. Once the image is enlarged you can scroll around inside of it using the 4-way jog control.

    Erase - Delete images

MODE MENU - leads to four sub-menus for PLAY, EDIT, CARD and SETUP:

PLAY options:

    Image Save - Save images from being erased
    Rotate - Rotate image 90% left or right
    Print Order - Select images for future printing

EDIT options:
    Black and White - Converts image to black and white
    Sepia - Converts image to sepia
    Resize - Resizes image to 640x480 or 320x240

CARD options:
    Erase All/Format -Erase all or format the xD-Picture card

SETUP options:

    All Reset - If ON it resets all settings to default at power down
    Language - Selects language for on-screen display.
    Sounds - Enable or disable camera beeps
    LCD Brightness - a sliding scale for adjustment
    Time/Date - Set the internal clock
    Video Out - Selects NTSC or PAL
    Index Play Back - Select number of images to display per screen(4, 9 or 16)

In the movie playback mode you can playback entire movie clips or frame by frame.
