Playback Screens & Menus
Note: Because the D-395 has no video-out port, the screen images presented on this page have been copied from the camera's Operations Guide; they are black and white as a result.
You can playback captured images by pressing the QUICK VIEW button when the lens
barrier is closed or when in record mode.
In the playback menu you can enable the INFO option to display information
including the quality, Image Size, Exposure Comp., White Balance, the Date/Time and the File
Press the bottom button of the 4-way controller (wideangle) to activate the index
playback mode. In the menu you can select the number of images to display per screen
as 4, 9 or 16.
Pressing the top button of the 4-way controller (telephoto) will enlarge the image on the
screen. There are several magnifications available from 1.5x to 4x. Once the image
is enlarged you can scroll around inside of it using the 4-way jog control.
Pressing the MENU button while in playback mode brings up this screen of options:
Slide Show playback
Erase - Delete images
INFO - Select image information
MODE MENU - leads to four sub-menus for PLAY, EDIT, CARD and SETUP:
Rotate - Rotate image 90% left or right
Print Order - Select images for future printing
Sepia - Converts image to sepia
Resize - Resizes image to 640x480 or 320x240
Language - Selects language for on-screen display.
Sounds - Enable or disable camera beeps
LCD Brightness - a sliding scale for adjustment
Time/Date - Set the internal clock
Index Play Back - Select number of images to display per screen(4, 9 or 16)
In the movie playback mode you can playback entire movie clips or frame by frame.
