Nikon D40x SLR Review

PictureProject empowers users of varying skill levels to maximize their digital photography experience,
with powerful features wrapped into an interface that navigates quickly and is easy to master.
PictureProject is a dynamic application, the software supports plug-ins, allowing users to add new
features, as technology and the digital camera market evolve.
The software allows users to easily transfer images to PC's or MAC's and browse, organize, and
share them.
Pictures taken in vertical orientation are automatically rotated. Controls for
retouch tasks including brightness and red-eye correction, are intuitive and fast. With
support for JPEG, TIFF and compressed NEF (RAW) files, PictureProject works in
close unison with Nikon Capture NX as the ideal companion to its powerful feature set.
You can quickly Transfer, Import, Print, E-mail, and Share images. As well as start a Slide show,
Pictmotion, Burn a CD, Auto Enhance pictures or remove Red-Eye. The Camera Control function is not
compatible with the D40x. To use it with compatible Nikon dSLR models, you will need to install the 30-day
trial of Camera Control Pro 2.
 These simple but powerful editing tools are available in Photo Enhance mode. 
 This is the Print Preview screen. It allows you to visually preview the orientation of your image on the paper size selected, enable borderless printing, etc. |
