Nikon D1X SLR Review

Most JPEGs are straight out of camera, some were converted from NEF raw
using Bibble and saved as JPEG. A few of them were shot on the first day
before I was aware of the dirt on the AA filter (a few small spots in sky area).

Most all of the pictures were taken using a Nikkor 24-85 F2.8 lens.

The two night shots (20sec and 30sec) were taken using manual white balance as
my building is lit by a mercury vapor street lamp that usually turns everything
quite red. Just before I snapped the pics my neighbor turned on her carport light
and this is why it looks blue in there. The D1x did a marvelous job of finding the
proper white point as well as creating virtually noise-free long exposures.
