Nikon D1X SLR Review

Screens & Menus
|
One of the major advances of the D1X and D1H over the original D1 is the new
menu system. D1 owners had to carry a "cheat sheet" in their pocket
to set the camera's Custom functions, the monochrome LCD display showed
only an abbreviated representation of the stored values.
The D1X uses the big color LCD and presents you with all of the settings in a
menu-driven environment. As you will see, it is now quite easy to change any of
the advanced features while in the field without need of the user's manual.
