Record Screens & Menus

By

Please excuse the quality of our screen images, the S6100 only displays limited amounts of information via the a/v output.

Auto mode, shown here, does not show very much information, but does feature a grid or movie guides that can be turned on and off in the setup menu. The two arrows on the bottom and left of the screen are your menu's since there are only Play, Record and Video recording buttons on the back of the camera.

nikon_s6100_rec_ready.JPGHalf-Pressing the shutter release allows the camera to lock focus, which is shown by the 9 green rectangles and the exposure information at the bottom.

nikon_s6100_rec_scenes.JPGScene modes: Auto Scene Selector, Portrait, Landscape, Sports, Night Portrait, Party, Beach, Snow, Sunset, Dusk/Dawn, Night Landscape, Close-up, Food, Museum, Fireworks, Black and White, Draw, Back lighting, Panorama and Pet.

nikon_s6100_rec_quick_menu.JPGSince there is no 4-way controller, the menu on the left replaces it and offers the Flash, Self-Timer, Macro and Exposure Compensation.
