Playback Modes & Menus
When you press the playback button on the back of the camera, the last picture taken is displayed full screen. You can move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button. You can choose from no info, basic info, a full detailed list of settings.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback function which is actuated by pressing the Wide zoom control. The amount of times you move the Wide zoom control will determine the amount of thumbnails shown, from either 12 or 30!
The image can be magnified up to 10x in multiple steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button. Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around inside of it using the 4-way selector buttons.
Movie clips can be played in the camera with audio thanks to the built-in speaker. Press the OK button to play a clip, or use any of the other VCR-like controls.
Quick Retouch - Automatically retouches your images
D-Lighting - Automatically enhances brightness and contrast
Print Set - Select Images to be printed
Slide Show - Runs a slideshow of your images
Delete - Deletes images from the memory card or internal memory
Protect - Protects images from being deleted
Rotate Image - Changes the orientation of the image by 90� at a time
Small Picture - Resizes the image
Voice Memo - Add a memo to a picture
Copy - Copy images back and forth between the internal memory
Resize allows you to make your images smaller on the camera without the need for a computer. The picture will save as new file so that you do not lose the original.
The rotate feature allows the camera to rotate an image without a computer 90� at a time.
The Set-Up menu options:
Electronic VR - Auto or Off
Menus - Select text or icon style menu screens
Welcome screen - Change the image used in the power up screen
Date - Set the internal time and date
Monitor Settings - Info displayed on LCD, Image Review, brightness
Date imprint - Records date, date & time, date counter onto image
Motion Detection - Auto or Off
Digital Zoom - On or Off
Sound settings - Camera sound effects and volume
Auto Off - Sleep delay time: 30s, 1m, 5m, 30m
Format card - Format SD card
Language - Choose from one of the many languages
Video Mode - NTSC, PAL
Blink Warning - On or Off
Reset all - Reset all settings to default
Firmware version - Display the camera's internal software version
