Pressing the Playback/Shooting mode button on top of the camera enters it into playback mode when already in shooting mode. Here you can view all of the images and movies that you have captured. Relatively no information is shown, just the batter level meter at the top right.
Touching the LCD screen brings up the information and controls that you see here. To scroll through your images, you can touch the arrows on the screen or slide your finger across it. The buttons on the bottom give you alternate sorting options.
Pushing the "HOME" button brings you to the playback menu. This simple menu brings you to the few options available; Favorites, Filter Effects, Slide Show and Print Order.
The camera's filter effects can be applied to any captured still images: Toy Camera, Soft, Fisheye, Miniature Effect, Vivid Color, Black and White, Sepia and Cyanotype.
Movie playback is possible on either the camera or any TV with the optional A/V cable (about $11 from Nikon). A small, built-in speaker allows you to hear the captured audio from the camera.
