Nikon Coolpix P520 Preview
Not ready for a dSLR, but still want the flexibility and capabilities of a long telephoto zoom lens, then check out Nikon's new Ultra Zoom Coolpix. The P520 boasts a 42x optical zoom lens good for a crazy 24mm-1000m zoom range (35mm equivalent). It also features a 18.1 megapixel backside-illuminated CMOS image sensor capable of recording Full HD 1080p video. And there's even a 3.2-inch Vari-Angle LCD display for composing shots at various heights.
Lens-shift vibration reduction and an new Active Mode help keep photo stills, as well as HD video, sharp and detailed. Built-in GPS allows you to track your photo adventures and, if you want to instantly share your photos to places like Facebook, you can even purchase an optional WiFi adapter.
