Nikon's Coolpix Advanced Performance cameras -- the P520
-- have a new pocket-sized sibling, the P330. Expected features include a 12.2-megapixel backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS image image sensor (1/1.7-inch), Full HD 1080p vidoe recording, Full Manual Control, a 5x optical zoom lens with Vibration Reduction, Scene Modes, and Easy Auto Mode.
Let's face it, this range of Nikon cameras are great for shooting in dark, less-than-optimal lightening conditions thanks to the dynamic range inherent in CMOS sensors. But what makes the P330 special is the f/1.8 maximum aperture lens, which makes it the fastest lens in the entire Coolpix line, including the 2013's Flagship Coolpix A. Stereo Sound and a Dedicated Video Record buttons are nice features for recording cinematic home movies. Full Manual Controls and NRW/RAW image capture are a must for enthusiasts who want dSLR-like performance without dSLR-bulk.
For the social media photographer, built-in GPS, and optional Wi-Fi Connectivity via the WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, will allow owners to track and share all the stunning new photos they take.
