Nikon has announced another budget-friendly Coolpix point-and-shoot digital camera, the L28. Designed to be easy-to-use for all photographers, the L28 includes a 20.1 megapixel image sensor, capable of HD video recording, mated to a 5x optical zoom lens. The 3.0-inch TFT LCD Display is large and bright.
Thanks to Easy Auto Mode, newer photographers can let the L28 figure out the best settings for any shooting condition, but if you like to stylize your photos, there's also Smart Portrait Mode with six adjustable functions, including Face-priority AF (Auto Focus), Skin Softening, Smile Timer, Blink Proof, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix. Lastly, if you hate worrying about recharging batteries all the time, the L28 runs on cheap, readily available AA batteries.
