The Nikon Coolpix AW130 is a rugged "lifeproof" camera designed for adventurous photographers who would otherwise destroy a normal camera. With an AW130, you can dive up to 100ft below the surface, drop it from as far as 7ft, or freeze it down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit. At the heart of the AW130, we have a 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor, capable of recording Full 1080p HD videos, mated to a 5x optical zoom lens with an f/2.8 maximum aperture.
To aid underwater photography, Nikon has installed a bright 921k dot 3.0" OLED display. And you can easily control various settings with hand gestures using Action Control. In other words, don't worry about having to take off your bulky gloves.
Other nice features include built-in Wi-Fi and NFC technologies; when connected to a smartphone or tablet via Nikon Snapbridge, users can transfer and backup files, or even remotely control the AW130. Built-in GPS with POI (Point of Interest) Technology geo-tags photographs with your exact latitude and longitude, so you can track your adventures anywhere on the globe.
