Typical Auto record mode LCD screen display.

The QuickReview button lets you see the last image captured in a full screen without leaving
Record mode. The image has the same overlay of information as it would in nomal playback mode.
The image can be deleted by simply pressisng the Flash / Delete button above the LCD. Tap the shutter
release to quickly return to Record mode.

The Shooting Menu in record:
Image Quality: JPEG images can be saved in Fine, Normal or Basic quality.
Image Size: 1632x1224, 1024x768, 640x480.
White balance: Auto, Manual preset, Fine (sunny), Incandescent,
Fluorescent, Cloudy or Speedlight.
Metering: Matrix, Spot, Center weighted.
Drive modes: Single, Continuous, Multi-shot 16
BSS: - Best Shot Selector takes a sequence of pictures and keeps the best one automatically.
This is useful when shooting in dim light without the benefit of a tripod.
Exposure compensation: +/-2EV in 1/3EV increments
Image Sharpening: Auto, Normal, High, Low, Off

Set-up Menu (several of these options are also available in the Record Mode Set-Up menu):
Brightness: adjust brighter or darker w a preview screen.
CF Card Format: remormat theeh card and thereby delete all images.
Date: Adjust date / time
Auto Off: adjust delay to turn off camera to 30 sec's, 1, 5 or 30 min's.
Video mode: set video-out port to NTSC or PAL.
Language: set menu language.
USB: set USB output to PTP(priner) or Mass storage(computer).

Backlight, Portrait, Night Portrait, and Beach/Snow.)

Typical screen display while in the Movie record mode. The Coolpix 2000 can record
QuickTime MOVie clips up to 20 seconds in length at 320 x 240 resolution. There is
no microphone so the movies are silent. The optical zoom can not be used during movie
recording.
