Sprint and Motorola have teamed up to debut the carrier's sixth 4G capable smartphone, the Motorola Photon 4G. Running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), the Photon 46 features an 8.0 megapixel rear facing camera, a VGA front facing webcam, and 720p HD video recording (with an HDMI out). Motorola's new user interface "MotoBlur" will really show off the 4.3 inch q-HD touchscreen display.
In terms of performance, the Motorola Photon 4G is powered by a 1GHZ dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and16GB of internal memory (expandable up to 48GB). And, the Photon 4g not only includes international GSM capability, it can also turn itself mobile hot spot for up to eight devices.

The Motorola Photon 4G will be available July 31 (2011) to the general public and will run on the Sprint 4G network. Sprint Premier customers will have the option to purchase the Photon 4G three days earlier. Pricing will be around $200 (with a two year contract) and $600 without.
