Play mode screen. When you move the Mode Switch to the Playback position the last image captured is displayed full screen with overlay data for time and date.

Pressing the wide-angle zoom control will display the thumbnail index mode shown above. You can quickly search through your images and select one for full-screen display by pressing the 4-way controller Up.

A full-screen image can be enlarged by pressing the telephoto zoom control. Once an image is enlarged you can scroll around inside of it using the 4-way directional buttons, or save the enlarged portion as a new image by depressing the shutter-release button.

Movie clips can be viewed on either the camera's LCD or on a television if you have hooked up the audio/video cable.

The Playback Menu is activated by depressing the Menu button.


    Protect - Protect images from deletion
    Erase - Delete one, all, or a group of images
    E-Mail Copy - Create a small copy of an image
    Rotate - Rotate image 90°
    DPOF set - Print this image, all images, index print, or Clear
    Slide show - Starts slide show

Images can be rotated 90° clockwise or counterclockwise.

Image copies can be resized to either 640x480 or 320x240.
