LG has released the Nexus 5 (aka the D820), which here in the US works with the Sprint cellular network. It features the latest Android operating system, powered by a 2.26 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The Nexus 5 works with 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G service, includes 16GB of internal storage (expandable with a microSD card), and a large 4.95-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a 445 ppi pixel density.
The Nexus 5 camera is anchored by a healthy 8-megapixel CMOS image sensor with LED Flash, 4x digital zoom, and Full 1080p HD video recording with optical image stabilization and an Intelligent Auto Mode to match camera settings to shooting conditions.
The Nexus 5 also boasts a full suite of Google apps and numerous ways -- Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and Android Beam -- to backup files via the cloud or post images and videos to your favorite social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
