(Note that the L3v and L4v do not have video out so these screens were
furnished to us by Kyocera to illustrate what you'll find on the camera)
The AUTO shooting mode is the simple, point-n-shoot user mode. Icons for Auto flash, image size (note that this is a screen shot from the L4v, the L3v's highest resolution is 2048x1536), image quality "N"ormal, there's space remaining for 27 pictures.
When you press the MENU button, the popup menu is displayed across the bottom of the screen.
Pixels - 2048x1536, 1600x1200, 1280x960, 640x480
Quality - Fine or Normal
Exposure Compensation - Override metering +/- 2.0EV in 0.3 steps
White Balance - Auto, Sunny, Incandescent, Cloudy, Fluorescent, Preset
Manual - see next frame
Manual mode options:
Chroma - Standard or + or -
Sharpness - Standard, +1, +2, +3 or -1
White Balance Preset - Set manual white balance
AE Mode - Program AE, F2.8 or F7.6
Focusing - Wide AF, Spot AF, MF
Long Exposure - Off, 2 sec, 4 sec, 8 sec
ISO - Auto, 80, 160, 320
Metering - Evaluative, Center, Spot
Digital Zoom - On, Off
MOVIE mode, the camera can also record motion video with audio at
320 x 240 or 160 x 120 resolution. You can capture up to 30 seconds at
320 x 240 or up to 120 seconds at 160 x 120 resolution.
Play mode shows the last image capture full screen. Pressing the
DISPlay button will overlay the information shown here: The folder and
file name, file size, image quality, image size, shutter speed, aperture,
exposure compensation, DPOF, date and time.
Play Multi mode is displayed by selecting it from the popup menu. Six thumbnail images per page are shown and you can quickly search through the stored images. To display the selected image full screen just press the 4-way control in the center.
Menu options for Multi/Single, record Sound memo, Protect, Erase,
Erase All, Resize, Rotate, Auto Play and Print.
Movies can be played back in-camera, playback is controlled by the 4-way
selector. The volume of the internal speaker can also be adjusted.

Date - Set time and date
Insert Date - Enable date stamping of images
Format - Format the SD memory card
Power Save - Off, 15s, 1m, 3m, 6m
Mode Lock - On, Off
Beep - Off, +1, +2, +3
Shutter Vol - Off, +1, +2, +3
Color Select - Menus: Yellow, Red, Purple, Blue
Start Screen - Select the image for startup screen
Rec Review - Off, 2 sec, 4 sec
Language - Menu language
File NO. - Reset file numbers
Mode Reset - Reset to default settings
