Because the DiMAGE Z2 can capture large, high-quality SVGA 800 x 600 movies, image sharpness and brightness are very important. During recording the DiMAGE Z2 will continue to focus to provide the sharpest image possible. The optical and digital zoom can be used during movie recording, simply select the optical zoom function in the Movie Mode menu (shown below). The Night Movie mode can make color recordings under extreme low-light conditions.
