KODAK EasyShare Z-Series digital cameras combine fast performance, point-and-shoot flexibility with the photographic control achieved through a higher optical zoom. The 6-megapixel EasyShare Z612 Zoom is a compact camera boasting a 12X SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON optical zoom lens with Kodak's image stabilization technology for sharp shots and steady videos.

The camera's easy-to-use features include a 2.5-inch LCD display, High-quality EVF (Electronic ViewFinder), PASM modes (Program AE, Aperture priority, Shutter priority, and Manual), auto-image enhance, on-camera cropping, histogram and advanced video designed to help photographers take better pictures with sharper detail.

Movie mode records TV-quality video, up to 30 frames per second (fps) using advanced MPEG-4 compression. Built-in image stabilization technology reduces on-screen shaking from unintentional hand and camera movement. The camera also offers an optical zoom feature for video including auto focus. And it is simple to select any frame in a video, then save and print it as a "freeze frame" still picture in just seconds.

The Z612 is part of the KODAK EASYSHARE System, so sharing your pictures is one-button simple. Sharing starts right on the back of the camera, the on-camera Share button lets you tag favorite pictures to print or email later. Favorite mode shows off your favorite pictures anytime, anywhere in an on-camera picture collection. The included KODAK EASYSHARE Software works seamlessly with EASYSHARE Cameras and Docks to enable one-button transferring and sharing. It's the easy way to view, edit, organize, print or view a slide show from your computer. The exclusive One Touch to Better Pictures feature automatically adjusts the settings on your inkjet printer to give you traditional quality photos when printing on KODAK Inkjet Photo Papers.
