Controls on the back: Upper right corner are the zoom controls, which also act as the index and magnify
options in review mode. Next is the delete button. The Monitor/"i" button controls the amount of information
that is overlayed on the LCD image. The 4-way controller lets you navigate the onscreen menus, pressing the
OK button in the center will accept changes. The "Up", "Down", "Left" and "Right" buttons are used to change
between Program and Manual mode as well as selecting the values for ISO, Focus, Exposure compensation, etc.
At the bottom you can see the Menu button (calls up and dismisses the menus), Review button, and the
Share button (lets you select images for printing, e-mailing, or to mark as a favorite.)
![]() On top you'll find various controls. Top right is the shutter release with the Mode dial mounted around it, followed by three buttons that control the Flash, Drive modes, and the power On/Off button. You can also see the built-in speaker to the left.
The Mode Dial has positions for: Smart Scene (Auto), P/M (Program/Manual), High ISO, Digital Image
Stabilization, Favorites, Movie, and SCN (portrait, sports, landscape, close-up, night portrait, night
landscape, snow, beach, text/document, fireworks, flower, manner/museum, self-portrait, children, backlight,
panning, candlelight, sunset, panorama stitch).
I/O ports are located on the right side. The USB 2.0 port works with the Kodak EasyShare Software to make image downloading fast and easy even without the use of an optional EasyShare Camera or Printer Dock. The USB cable can also be plugged into any Pictbridge compatible photo printer for direct, computer-less printing. This port also facilitates the A-V output cable with selectable NTSC or PAL format and audio for connection to a TV set.
There's also the DC IN jack for an optional AC power adapter. Not shown is the docking
connector on the bottom of the camera.

The Z1275 Zoom comes with 64MB of internal memory and is equipped with a SD/SDHC/MMC
card slot that accepts any capacity SD/SDHC or MMC flash card.
![]() Power is supplied by two standard AA type cells. This means you can use NiMH, Lithium, or Oxy-Alkaline cells. We always recommend using rechargeable NiMH cells, they last longer and will save you money in the long run. You can also use the optional Kodak NiMH battery pack that is included with the Kodak EasyShare Camera and Printer Docks. |
