Record Screens & Menus
Please excuse
the
quality of our screen images, Kodak does not include an A/V cable.
Therefore, we had to photograph the LCD screen.

Here you
can see the M550 in Smart
Capture mode, which is Kodak's full auto shooting mode. This exposure
program will automatically choose the
correct exposure settings as well as the best Scene mode preferences for
your current shooting situation. The
only options that you are able to control while in Smart Capture mode
are the flash, self-timer and image size.

Half
pressing the shutter release allows the camera to focus and choose the
correct exposure before you shoot. Your focus point is shown with the
green brackets. If the camera fails to focus, this bracket will not show
up.

Scene
Modes: Portrait, Panoramic Left-Right and Right-Left, Sport, Landscape,
Close-Up, Night Portrait, Night Landscape, Snow,
Beach, Text, Fireworks, Flower, Manner/Museum, Self-Portrait, High ISO,
Children, Backlight, Panning Shots, Candle Light, Sunset.

Program
mode gives you the most control over the camera settings. This is still
an automatic shooting mode that chooses chooses the shutter speed and
aperture for you, however now you have access to all of the other
settings that are available on this model.

You can preset the optical zoom before recording starts, however it can not be used while recording. There is a digital zoom option for zooming while recording video, however use it sparingly as it will degrade the quality of your movie clip.
