The lens retracts into the camera when powered down and is protected by a built in lens protector. The focus range is: Normal: - 2.0 ft (0.6 m)-infinity (Wide/Tele) Macro: - 2.8 in.-2.3 ft (0.07-0.7 m) Wide, 1.3-2.3 ft (0.4-0.7 m) Tele Landscape: - 32.8 ft (10 m)-infinity

The indoor/outdoor 3.0-inch wide view color LCD has 230,000 pixels of resolution. It is used as the live

On the back is the Zoom lens controls, in playback they function as the magnify and index controls for
inspecting stored images. Next is play button, which swithes the camera into Review or Playback mode. The Menu button is for calling up and dismissing the
onscreen menu system. The 4-way selector is for navigating menus and selecting pictures; push the
center to accept menu selections. Pressing the 4-way controller "Up" toggles the amount of overlay info shown
on the LCD and "Down" toggles the Drive mode. Lastly is the Delete and Share buttons along the bottom.
On top are is Mode button, which allows you to choose Smart, Program, one of the 22 Scenes, or Movie mode. Next is the Flash mode and Power button along with the Shutter release.

The interface connector is located on the bottom (not shown), and is a combination port to connect the USB cable for downloading images
to Mac and Windows computers or to a PictBridge enabled photo printer. The camera only outputs Audio-Video when used with the exclusive
Kodak Camera Dock. On the right side of the camera is a DC IN jack for an optional AC power supply (shown above).

The M1033 has ~32MB of internal memory and a memory card slot capable of using SD/SDHC memory cards. Images, movies and sound recordings can
be copied from internal memory to SD card or vice-versa. We recommend the purchase of at least a 1GB SD card (or larger if planning on a
vacation).
The M1033 is powered by a 3.7v 940mAh Kodak Li-Ion rechargeable digital camera battery (KLIC-7004), that is charged in-camera when using the USB cable. You can use the included AC adapter or simply plug the camera into a USB port on your PC; charging using a PC's USB port will take much longer than using the included AC adapter. Kodak claims you can capture 220 pictures per charge, using CIPA Standard testing methods. |
