The KODAK DC5000 is a ruggedized digital camera that is made to used in any weather or environmental conditions. Its weatherproof design keeps moisture out for reliable performance in light rain or mist, dusty and dirty conditions, on the beach, near the pool or on a boat. Large over-sized controls mean better handling - even if you're wearing gloves in cold weather assignment or on a construction site.

The DC5000 features 2-Megapixel resolution (High 1760 x 1168 pixels, Standard 896 x 592 pixels) with a 2X (30-60mm) optical zoom lens and stores image data on CompactFlash cards. It has a USB port to quickly download files from the camera to the user's host computer and is powered by regular AA-type batteries.
