The Kodak EASYSHARE C875 is the high-end member of the EasyShare C series of snapshot cameras. With a large 2.5-inch color LCD screen and a SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON 5X optical zoom lens this 8-megapixel point-and-shoot produces good pictures and offers plenty of advanced controls. The camera also uses the KODAK PERFECT TOUCH technology for better, brighter pictures. At the touch of a button, this innovative feature - previously available only on KODAK printers and kiosks, or via lab processing - creates better, brighter pictures by bringing out detail in shadows without affecting lighter areas. It's ideal for underexposed pictures caused by shooting beyond the flash range or in adverse lighting conditions.

With Smart scene mode, you can capture stunning shots with ease, since smart scene automatically selects the best scene mode for your shot. For those who feel like flexing a little more creative muscle the C875 offers the PASM mode. Program mode (P)-camera sets optimal shutter speed and aperture combination, Aperture priority mode (A)-you choose aperture, the camera sets shutter speed, Shutter priority mode (S)-you choose shutter speed, the camera sets aperture, and Manual mode (M)-you choose both the aperture and shutter speed. The PASM modes puts you in complete control.

On-camera picture-enhancing features include cropping, auto picture rotation, digital red-eye reduction, and blurry picture alert. The model also integrates Kodak's Share button with its 'favorites' feature for storing multiple pictures in an on-camera digital photo album. Each picture can then be shared anytime on the camera's high-resolution 2.5-inch indoor/outdoor LCD display. For capturing more than just still pictures, the camera also features high-quality (640x480 @ 30fps) QUICKTIME MOV (MPEG-4) video capture, playback and video action print options.
