The indoor/outdoor 2.5-inch wide view color LCD has 115,000 pixels of resolution (480 x 240). It can also be used as a live viewfinder and for viewing your images and movies and accessing the menu screens.

On the back is the Zoom lens controls, in playback they function as the zoom-in and zoom-out controls for inspecting the magnified image. Next is the Delete button, and the LCD/Info/Help button which turns the LCD on/off and controls the amount of data that is displayed over the image. The 4-way Joystick selector is for navigating menus and selecting pictures. Push on the Joystick for the OK button to accept menu selections. The Menu button calls up and dismisses the menu system. The Review button enables the playback mode. Tag any picture using the exclusive Share button and it will be ready to print or e-mail later.

The interface connector is a combination port to connect the USB cable for downloading images to Mac and Windows computers or to a PictBridge enabled photo printer. The Audio-Video Out cable for viewing on a TV set is also connected here. The video signal is selectable for NTSC or PAL. On the bottom is a DC IN jack for an optional AC power supply.

The C875 has ~32MB of internal memory and a SD memory card slot capable of using SD/MMC cards. Images, movies and sound recordings can be copied from internal memory to SD card or vice-versa. We recommend the purchase of at least a 256MB SD card (or 1GB if doing a lot of movies).

The C875 is powered by two AA type batteries; alkaline, NiMH or lithium. Or you can use one of the CR-V3 type lithium batteries. We recommend the use of rechargeable NiMH AA type for economy, power and the environment. However, if you use your camera infrequently or in cold temperatures, the CR-V3 type is the best choice.

It can also be powered by the optional KODAK Ni-MH Rechargeable Battery KAA2HR that is bundled with the KODAK EASYSHARE Camera and Printer Docks.
