HTC has released its new flagship smartphone for 2014. It bears the same name as last year's, the HTC One
. However, this model is dubbed the "M8" and features an upgraded processor, support for up to 160GB of internal storage (requires separate purchase), HTC Sense 6 motion controls, a larger 5.0-inch display, and an improved UltraPixel Rear Camera.
This year, the UltraPixel Duo boasts a 6.0-megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor paired to an f/2.0 28mm wide angle lens with digital zoom and Full HD 1080p Video recording. You can also capture 360 Panorama shots. And, there's a second rear-facing camera that captures depth information so that, in viewing your photos, you can adjust focus AFTER the picture is already taken thanks to what HTC calls "UFocus". There is also a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chatting.
With support for 4G LTE cellular data, Wi-Fi, NFC, DNLA, and Bluetooth 4.0, the HTC One (M8) is a multimedia machine for downloading, viewing, making, and sharing still images and video content.
