Record Screens & Menus

The GE E1250TW only outputs a slideshow when the A/V cable is plugged in so our screens have been taken from the GE users manual.

Auto Record mode controls most of the camera's functions for you. You can see icons for the 3 controls that you have access to above: Macro mode and Flash on the right and Image size on the bottom. The icon highlighted in red in the bottom right corner controls the amount of information that is shown on the screen. Finally the icons in the left corners are shortcuts to the camera mode screen on top and the camera menu on the bottom.

Manual shooting mode adds a few more settings for you to control. There are 3 screens of shortcuts that are available to you here including face detection, self timer, ISO, White Balance and Color mode. These settings can all be found by pressing the 1>2 icon in the bottom right corner.

The green square in the middle shows the camera with the auto-focus locked and ready. If the camera does not focus correctly they will show up in red.

As seen with the 4-way controller on most digicams, the shortcut menus on the E1250TW allow you to easily and quickly change some of the most common settings. Shown here are the flash and Image size screens.

Pressing the Mode button in the top left corner brings you to this screen. Here you can choose between Auto, Manual, Movie, Panorama, Scene, Image Stabilization or Auto Scene mode.

Pressing the Scene button above brings you to the Scene mode selection screen. The available Scene modes are :
Sport, Indoor, Snow, Fireworks, Museum, Night Landscape, Children, Leaf, Sunset, Glass, Landscape, Night Portrait, Portrait
