When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can
move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The
amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback
function which is actuated by pressing the DISP button. Thirty (!!) thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT/RIGHT and
UP/DOWN buttons and then pressing the MENU/OK button.
You can also search through stored images using the Date playback
function which is actuated by pressing the DISP button once more. Eleven thumbnail size
images will be displayed along with an index of dates that photos were taken.
You can select an image using the LEFT/RIGHT and
UP/DOWN buttons and then pressing the MENU/OK button, or select a date by using the left
button to move to the date column, then up/down to select the date.
The image can be magnified in several steps up to 4.1x by actuating the telephoto zoom control.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it
using the LEFT/RIGHT and UP/DOWN buttons.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the video cable.
Playback MENU options:
IMAGE ROTATE - Rotate the image clockwise or counterclockwise PRINT ORDER (DPOF) - Specify print options PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All PLAYBACK - Set the style in which you want the images to be displayed in Automatic Playback. GAME - Play a game on the LCD VOICE MEMO - Add a voice recording of up to 30 seconds to the displayed image TRIMMING - Crop the displayed image in-camera COPY - Copy images between xD memory card and internal memory SET - Enter setup menu
The Trimming option lets you to trim (crop) an image and save it as a 3MP, 2MP
or 0.3MP file depending on the degree of cropping. The Trimmed image is saved as
a separate file.
The DPOF menu is called-up by depressing the "F" button during playback.
Select the image you want to print, then toggle the UP button to select the number of prints.
If you get bored taking pictures, the V10 includes several games that can be played from the playback menu. |
