Looking for an ultra-compact digicam made to slip into pockets? Well then, you'll want to check out the newly announced Fujifilm FinePix T500. It's got a 12x optical zoom lens, with optical image stabilization, in front of a 16-megapixel CCD image sensor and a newly designed Autofocus system that's a full 20% faster than the previous model (the T400)
Other fun features include Motion Panorama, which takes ultra widescreen panoramas while holding the shutter button in single sweeping motion, as well as Individual Shutter 3d, which combines two slightly-off-angle exposures into one gorgeous 3D image. To make the T550 easy to use, Fuji's redesigned the graphical user interface and increased the camera's user buttons.
For those who like a little flair in their photos, Fuji include six Advanced Filters like Pop Color (which pushes contrast and saturates color), Toy Camera (which shades an image's borders), Miniature (an in-camera tilt-shit photography look), Partial Color (which turns all but one selected color to black&white), Cross screen (blasts starbursts around bright objects), and Soft Focus (like old school Hollywood movies).
