The Fujifilm FinePix S8600, announced at CES 2014, is a compact, yet long-zoom digital camera. So how does a camera with a 36x optical zoom (a 25-900mm 35mm equivalent) become pocket sized? According to Fujifilm, the S8600 "uses a newly developed three-step collapsible lens, which automatically retracts when not in use to leave a slim and stylish body that is extremely compact."
The S8600 also features a 16 megapixel CCD image sensor with sensor-shift Optical Image Stabilization, 720p HD Video Recording, a 3.0-inch LCD display, Face Detection auto focus for up to 10 faces, 10 Advanced Filter Effects, and a Mode Dial to give owners flexibility and access to manual controls and Burst Shooting.
