Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the play button on the back of the camera takes it to the playback mode. Here you can see all of the images that are saved on the camera's internal memory or memory card. Pressing the DISP button on the back allows you to change the amount of information that is shown about each image. You can choose from a full screen of info to none at all. There is even a screen to rate your images.

Using the zoom control lever (wide angle), the playback screen can taken to the index screen. Here you can see thumbnails of multiple images at a time for faster searching. Once you find the image you are looking for, the 4-way controller can be used to select and view it.

Pressing the zoom control lever the other way (telephoto) allows you to zoom in on any of the images saved on the camera. This is a great way to check the focus and fine details when a computer is not available. The 4-way controller once again allows you to scroll around the image once you have zoomed in.

Your home movies can also be played back on the camera's LCD screen and built-in speaker. The camera offers basic video controls to view the movies. With an optional HDMI cable, the movies can also be displayed on any HDTV straight from the camera.
