Playback Screens & Menus
When you press the Playback mode button, the last picture that was taken is displayed. You can move
backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. Minimal overlay information is
displayed for each image.
Here you can see the Index mode, which is activated by pressing the DISP/BACK button. The first screen
shoes the typical 9 image layout, while the second is sorted by the date the image/images were captured.
You move around using the 4-way controller and use the MENU/OK button to select and image to be displayed full
screen.
The image can be magnified in several steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it.
Playback MENU options:
ERASE - Single frame or All frames
SLIDE SHOW - Start and automated slide show of images
PRINT ORDER - Set the DPOF (Direct Print Order Format) settings
PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All
COPY - Copy your images from internal memory to your xD card or visa versa
IMAGE ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images
TRIMMING - Trim (crop) the image and save as new image
SET-UP - enter the SETUP menu
Trim (crop) the current image and save it as a new image file.
Here you can see the Rotate option. This allows you to change the orientation of an image, for proper
display on the LCD or a TV set.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the supplied Audio/Video cables.The image number, resolution and date and time are shown before the video is played. During playback, the length of the video is shown.
Set-Up Menu:
IMAGE DISP. - 1.5, 3 seconds or Continuous
FRAME NO. - Continuous or renew (file numbering)
DIGITAL ZOOM - On or Off
LCD POWER SAVE - On or Off
DATE/TIME - setting of date and time
BEEP VOLUME - Volume of camera sounds, Low/High/Off
SHUTTER VOLUME - Shutter sound-fx volume
PLAYBACK VOLUME - Volume of movies or voice memos
LCD BRIGHTNESS - LCD brightness
FORMAT - Format the xD Card
LANGUAGE - English/French/German
AUTO POWER OFF - Off, 2 min. or 5 min.
TIME DIFFERENCE - World time offset
BACKGROUND COLOR - Menu screen color scheme
VIDEO SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL video signal timing
RESET - resets all camera settings to default.
