Playback Screens & Menus
When you select Playback mode, the last picture that was taken is displayed. You can move backward or
forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The overlay information is
displayed for each image.
The Index on this model is sorted by date. The pictures are listed under the date in which they were shot. There are 12 thumbnails shown at a time that can be selected using the 4 way control and then pressing the MENU/OK button.
The image can be magnified in several steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it.
Playback MENU options:
IMAGE ROTATE - Rotate portrait mode images PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All COPY - Copy your images from internal memory to your xD card or visa versa VOICE MEMO - Record up to a 30-sec voice memo TRIMMING - Trim (crop) the image and save as new image SET-UP - enter the SETUP menu
Trim (crop) the current image and save it as a new image file.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the supplied Audio/Video cables.The image number, resolution and date and time are shown before the video is played. During playback, the length of the video is shown.
A new feature that Fuji added to a few of it's cameras this year, including the
A900, is an infrared (IR) communication tool. This allows you to transfer data between two Fuji
cameras without any cables. All you have to do is point the IR sensors at each other and specify which
camera will send and which will receive. For a single picture, the transfer time was around 2 seconds.

FRAME NO. - Continuous or renew (file numbering) AF ILLUMINATOR - Enable or disable AF-assist lamp ILLUMINATION - On, Off DIGITAL ZOOM - On or Off DATE/TIME - setting of date and time BEEP VOLUME - Volume of camera sounds, Low/High/Off SHUTTER VOLUME - Shutter sound-fx volume SHUTTER SOUND - Select different shutter sounds PLAYBACK VOLUME - Volume of movies or voice memos LCD BRIGHTNESS - LCD brightness FORMAT - Format the xD Card LANGUAGE - English/French/German AUTO POWER OFF - Off, 2 min. or 5 min. TIME DIFFERENCE - World time offset BACKGROUND COLOR - Menu screen color scheme VIDEO SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL video signal timing RESET - resets all camera settings to default. |
