Playback Modes & Screens
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can
move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons. The
amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP button.
Pressing the +/- Exposure compensation button in playback mode displays exposure details,
including a histogram.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback
function which is actuated by pressing the DISP button. Nine thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT/RIGHT and
UP/DOWN buttons and then pressing the MENU/OK button.
Press the DISP button again to display the index sorted by date of capture.
The image can be magnified in several steps by pressing the telephoto zoom button.
Once the image is enlarged at any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it
using the LEFT/RIGHT and UP/DOWN buttons.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the
audio-video cable. The volume of the internal speaker can be adjusted.
Playback MENU options:
ROTATE - Rotate portrait images 90°
PRINT ORDER - Embed DPOF printing information
PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All
PLAYBACK - Set the style in which you want the images to be displayed in Automatic Playback.
SET - Enter Setup menu
VOICE MEMO - Add a voice recording of up to 30 seconds to the image
TRIMMING - Crop the displayed image in-camera
The Trimming option lets you to trim (crop) an image and save it as a 5MP, 3MP, 2MP
or 0.3MP file depending on the degree of cropping. The Trimmed image is saved as
a new file.
Up to 30 seconds of audio can be recorded and attached to a still image.
