Playback Screens & Menus
When you select Playback mode the last picture taken is displayed. You can
move backward or forward through the images using the LEFT and RIGHT buttons.
The amount of overlay information displayed is controlled by pressing the DISP
button. Date/time and image number are displayed for several seconds as each image is reviewed;
there is no extended exposure information available.
You can quickly search through stored images using the Index playback
function which is actuated by pressing the DISP button. Nine thumbnail size
images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT/RIGHT and
WIDE/TELE buttons and then pressing the MENU/OK button.
The image can be magnified in several steps pressing the telephoto zoom button. Once the image is enlarged at
any step, you can move around (Pan) inside of it using the left/right and zoom control; the zoom control
becomes the up/down control after first panning left/right.
Movie clips can be played in the camera or viewed on a TV using the supplied
audio/video cable.
Playback MENU options:
DPOF - Set the DPOF (Direct Print Order Format); Reset All, Without Date, With Date PROTECT - Frame, Set All, Reset All OPTION - Adjust LCD brightness, enter the SETUP menu PLAYBACK - Set the style in which you want the images to be displayed in Automatic Playback. COPY - Copy images between the camera's internal memory and an xD memory card VOICE MEMO - Add a 30 second audio memo to an image TRIMMING - Allows you to zoom in and crop an image

The Trimming function allows you to zoom in on a portion of a capture image, then crop that segment out as a
new file.
Set-Up menu in Auto, Manual and Play modes:
SHUTTER VOL - Set volume of shutter sound (off, low, high) BEEP VOLUME - Volume of camera sounds (off, low, high) FRAME NO. - Continuous or renew (file numbering) DIGITAL ZOOM - Digital zoom on or off AUTO POWER OFF - 2min/5 min/off LCD POWER SAVE - On/Off, Dims the LCD after 10 seconds of no use FORMAT - Formats the xD-Picture Card DATE/TIME - setting of date and time TIME DIFFERENCE - World time offset LANGUAGE - English/French/German/Spanish/Italian USB MODE - DSC(download to a PC)/PICTBRIDGE (printer connection) VIDEO SYSTEM - NTSC or PAL video signal timing DISCHARGE - Discharge the NiMH rechargeable batteries RESET - resets all camera settings to default. |
