The FinePix 6900 Zoom builds on the ease-of-use and distinctive styling of Fujifilm's popular FinePix 4900 Zoom and inherits advanced functions from the FinePix S1 Pro. The FinePix 6900 Zoom features Fujifilm's second generation 3.3 million-sensor Super CCD that generates a 6-megapixel picture file. The Super CCD, along with Fujifilm's High Definition Color processing technology and 6X Super EBC Fujinon lens, helps the FinePix 6900 Zoom set a new standard in color and overall picture quality for the serious photo enthusiast.
With the ability to generate image files of up to six million pixels (2832 x 2128 resolution in TIFF-RGB format) for enlargements and photo editing software manipulation, the FinePix 6900 Zoom also offers the following features:

To further enhance the digital photography experience, Fujifilm provides consumers with an easy entrance to the Internet imaging world with the company's newly designed FinePixViewer software program, which comes bundled with the FinePix 6900 Zoom and other FinePix digital cameras. At the click of a few buttons, the FinePixViewer lets users view their pictures and links them directly to the World Wide Web for answers to frequently asked questions, picture-taking tips, support utilities, updated drivers and the receipt of periodic and pertinent promotional announcements from Fujifilm.
Along with Fujifilm's FinePixViewer, other bundled software programs include DP Editor, Adobe PhotoDeluxe® 4.0 Home Edition and ActiveShare™.
The FinePix 6900 Zoom will be available with a suggested list price of $999.
