The Playback screen displays the date of capture, in the lower left screen, and the file name of the picture in the upper right.

Go to playback mode and press the zoom button to enter the Index mode which can show 9 thumbnail images per page. This allows you to quickly search through your stored images. Use the 4 way button to look through them and press the OK button to full size. Pressing the zoom button again and get 9 tile images to scroll through and press OK button to full size.

Press the zoom Telephoto button to enlarge the playback image. It can be magnified from 100% to 5750% in multiple steps, once enlarged you can scroll around inside of it using the 4-way controller. At any magnification step you can save the cropped image by pressing the shutter button.

Playback menu has options for:
    Protect - Yes or Exit
    Rotate - Yes or Exit
    Resize - 2m(1600x1200) or 0.3m(640x480) or Exit
    File Copy - Int Mem to Card or Card to Int Mem
    Print Inst - Each Image, All Images, or All Clear
    Slide Show - Time of sequence, and type of fade and music to choose.

The Photo Trim option works in conjunction with playback zoom, allowing you to crop out a smaller section of an image. These operations prompt you to create a new image or overwrite the original.

Movies are played back in full screen mode, playback starts by pressing the OK button in the center of the 4-way controller.

During playback, the 4-way controller's "Left", "Right", and "Down" buttons allow you to rewind, fast-forward, and stop movie playback, while pressing the Ok button in the center will pause video.
