Click to take a QTVR tour of the QV-2900UX The Casio QV-2900UX is a 2.11-million pixel (1600 x 1200) digital camera featuring high magnification zoom up to 32x and super close-up. The camera incorporates a swiveling 8x Optical Zoom lens that's equivalent to a 40-320mm zoom on a 35mm camera plus a 2x/4x Digital Zoom. It features Casio's unique BestShot feature that allows the user to chose a desired shooting mode from a menu that best reflects your imaging situation. The camera automatically selects the best combination of aperture and shutter speed. Built-in icons such as "night," "fireworks" -- and 26 others - handle tough photographic situations with "point-and-shoot" simplicity. An additional 36 icons can be found on the supplied CD for a total of 64 BestShot modes. The QV-2900UX will be available in July, 2001 for $499 suggested retail.
