Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing the Play button brings up the image last captured. The default information is displayed: image size (12-megapixel), quality (Fine), file number (100-0145), battery level indicator, and time and date of capture are shown. Pressing the 4-way controller left or right scrolls through the stored images. Pressing the DISPlay button will bring up the +Histogram option. It also shows extended exposure data: image size in pixels (4000x3000), EV compensation (0.0), ISO used (ISO 64) Best Shot mode used (Auto), flash mode (Off), white balance (AWB), metering, Aperture value (f3.1), Shutter speed (1/640) as well as the histogram. Pressing it again will remove all information and just show the picture.

Pressing the "wide" end of the zoom control enters the camera into index mode. Here the camera displays 25 thumbnail images from the memory card. This allows you to quickly search through your images. Pressing it again enters the calendar view, allowing you to select your images by the date they were taken.

Pressing the "telephoto" end of the zoom allows the camera to zoom in on the image up to 8x. You can then use the 4-way controller to navigate around the image.
