Playback Modes & Menus
Pressing the Play button brings up the image last captured. The default information is displayed: image size (9-megapixel), quality (Fine), file number, battery level indicator, and time and date of capture are shown. Pressing the 4-way controller left or right scrolls through the stored images.
Pressing the DISPlay button will bring up the extended exposure information screen with a Histogram. Data shown includes: Zoom position (26mm), EV compensation (0.0), ISO used (ISO 100) mode used (Auto), flash mode (off), white balance (AWB), metering, Drive mode (Single), Aperture value (f4.4), and the Shutter speed (1/400). Pressing it again will remove all information and just show the picture.
You can search through stored images using the Index function by pressing the wide angle zoom button. Twenty five thumbnail size images will be displayed and you can select one using the LEFT/RIGHT and UP/DOWN buttons and then pressing the Set or Telephoto zoom buttons.
The playback image can be magnified up to 8x when you press the telephoto zoom control. You can scroll around inside of the enlarged image by using the 4-way controller. Pressing the wide angle control will zoom out.
