Playback Screens & Menus

Pressing up on the 4-way controller allows you to change the amount of information that is shown on the screen while in Playback mode. You can choose from No info, Basic info and a full list of the shooting info, including a full-color histogram for each image.

Index mode allows you to quickly browse through your images by displaying 25 thumbnail images at a time. The camera's index mode can be selected by pressing the wide end of the zoom.

Pressing the zoom lever to the telephoto end allows the camera to zoom in on an image in several steps from 1.3x to 8.0x magnification. Once you have zoomed in, you can use the 4-way controller to scroll through the image.

When the camera captures images in burst mode, they are saved in groups. These groups allow you to play the entire series of images like a movie, or to look through them one at a time.

The burst groups can be divided, which will separate the individual images. You can choose to divide just one group or all of them at once.

Resize allows you to save a new, smaller copy of an image that you have already captured. This is a fast and simple way to resize images for web, blog and email use.

Rotation gives you the option to change the orientation of your images by 90° at a time.
