Canon's PowerShot S90 is an ultra-compact digicam that is designed for the photo enthusiast who is looking for a pocketable camera to add to their ranks, which still offers a great deal of the exposure control they are accustomed to on their dSLR. This model is somewhat of a cross-breed between Canon's popular Digital ELPH consumer line and their prosumer "G" series of high-end cameras.
Sporting a sophisticated design and list of features, the S90 is truly a compact powerhouse. With the same "high sensitivity" 10-megapixel sensor found on the G11, along with a fast F2.0 3.8x optical zoom lens, high resolution 3.0-inch LCD display, versatile ISO range, and Canon's legendary OIS system, the S90 is likely the most well equipped ultra-compact camera on the market today for under $400.
